Eventide
Dusk is my mistress
Whos beauty is renown
Sitting here watching
The sun going down
Crickets begin their chirping
The Katydids sing along
All in perfect harmony
Evenings graceful song
Twilight unfolds before me
A rose-colored sky
Hello to the lightning bugs
Kiss the day goodbye
Dusk is my mistress
She quells my constant frown
As I'm sitting here watching
The sun going down
