Downfall of Myself

These four walls that I've built up these past 17 years
They're crumbling before my eyes
The walls are falling down
My distorted reality is becoming real

The rust is beggining to show
The bricks are chipping away
Color is being washed from my world
How do I make this stop?

Feelings are useless when you don't know what to do with them
Numbness has become my friend these past weeks
I still can't make up my mind
I'm more confused than ever

That's why this is the downfall of myself!

Wow, amazing write. Love the whole second stanza comparing the downfall to acual structure. Also, love the line "Feelings are useless when you don't know what to do with them". Very nice.
