Don't shed a tear

I lye in my casket dressed in lace,
the softest of silks rubbing my face,
this black wooden shell holding me in,
my happiness now can finally begin,

for now you see is the end,
i no longer have to defend,
no longer do i need to impress,
no more worring on how i dress,

no matter what dont shed a tear,
for always know that i shall be near,
do not say it was not my time,
i'd rather now than down the line,

ive been dying inside slowly falling,
waiting for me to be the one they're calling,
just wanting to be able to be completely free,
just to be able to be just me,

to spend my days watchin those i love,
going around as if i were a dove,
listening to them when they need to talk,
and walking beside when they walk,

please take my ashes and spread them wide,
stand on a rock and throw them into the tide,
dont morne my death dont you shed a tear,
ill see you again when you follow me here.
