Choices to make
Playing games we don’t want to play
Same winner each and every day
Break the pattern
Strike the match
Shut the door
Lock the latch
The light is fading
I’m sick of waiting
Stepping into the acid rain
Laughing at the thought of pain
Trying to make me listen to you
Screaming and yelling to make me hear
Well what else is new?
These are things
I can do without you
Chances lost
Make them up
Fingers crossed
Bridges burned
Oh well
The hardest lessons learned
Go where you want to go
Don’t tell them
They don’t ever have to know
Do what you want to do
Go on now
You have the right to chose
Dark thoughts
Falling fast
Always lost
Light when we decide
Is it here?
Has it died?
Shining stars
Blinding bright light
Shining through
The darkest night
This is what the movies show
Now how the story goes
In the mornings light
The truth shines so bright
We have the chance to choose
What we face
How we bruise
Wake up
Face the day
Say things
We don’t want to say
Close our eyes
Wait for another sweet surprise
Wait till the sun
Becomes too bright
Wait until
We are blind
Go on now
You have the right to chose
If this hurts
If you bruise
