Childish Fears

Black and white paint,
masked faces,
and glass eyes
pierce my mind
like diamond swords of an unknown time
Dolls,
Clowns,
My childish fears...
They won't fade
They won't go
Will I let this fear rule me?
No! I will be free
One day...
Someday...
But the nightmare stares
with emotionless and lifeless
Eyes that don't deny that
they're watching
and my fear is here all behind eyes of tears.
