Abyss

Excuse my actions for I’ve been hiding
Inside a chemical illusion I’ve been subsiding
Trying to forget all that I’ve done
Trying to not hurt anyone
It’s been so long since I have seen
Anything else besides the unclean

Forgive my words they can be a curse
Look for the riddle in every verse
I couldn’t control myself for so long
Now I’m not sure if I even belong
Have I forgotten something I should recall
Is there a meaning to anything at all

The weight of something is bringing me down
I wish I could feel it but it cant even be found
So heres to all that I’ve known
All that I am and all that is gone
