A DREAM FROM A DISTANT PLACE
True dream, within my close view,
Longing to land on my palm.
Instead, I reach out to catch it,
On my hands, it gleams.
I let it fly again,
Watching those cyan wings flutter.
It glides above the cold shore
For the pretty mermaids to watch;
It sings to the gliding gulls
To dance above sea flowers.
True dream, on my planet,
Yearning to sail a distant mile, again.
