*-Wherever-*

I want to show you the hidden meadow just down my street,
Lord knows that it's been awhile,
I'll pluck you a bouquet, of every flower, my sweet
There, everything grows wild
I want to take you to the top of the hill,
in the old quiet cemetery
In the evening the sun sets blood orange,
shining rays through the red and golden trees.
I want you to see the stars where I live,
they're many with a brilliance so bright,
and the glow flies dance in my backyard,
we could dance there too if you'd like
I'd love to take you through the corn maze I've found,
just beyond the black gates, across the road.
I just want to be where you'll be,
just tell me which way to go.
I'd like to show you a few things,
I know, it won't be much to see, considering where I come from
but time and place isn't most important,
rather it's that we're together wherever we run

FROG SOUP
Zuppa Di Rane
The Silver Spoon, Phaidon Press

Serves 4

Ingredients
• 24 frogs
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 onion, sliced
• 1 carrot, sliced
• 1 celery stalk, chopped
• 1 garlic clove
• 3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
• 6 1/4 cups Meat or Chicken Stock
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
• salt and pepper
• 4 country-style bread slices, toasted, to serve

Directions
Remove the frogs' legs and set aside.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion, carrot, celery and garlic and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes until lightly browned.

Add the frogs and mix well, then add the tomatoes and stock and season with salt and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer until the frogs have almost disintegrated.

Transfer to a food processor and process to a puree.

Return the puree to the pan, add the frogs' legs and cook for a further 15 minutes.

Ladle into a soup tureen, sprinkle with the parsley and serve with toast.
