You Love Me
We spent hours of our day
Lounging under a tree
You laughed at my screams
When I was stung by a bee
You'd press your head to mine
But you'd kiss my shoes
I trade all of my poems
For five menthol kools
We'd watch the clouds drift
Across the green sky
I always tell the truth
But you knew when I'd lie
We'd argue about art vs poetry
We could never ever agree
You're all I ever dream of
And you love me
