I can't believe i almost gave you up
i was willing to leave you there
and your feelings for me, for you to give up
and i wouldn't give a care
i got so close to losing you forever
and sad thing is, i would have moved on
i'd never forgive myself, if i ever
actually lost you knowing all we would have would be gone
looking at us now, i'd die if you ever left
i can't see me living without you here
if you were gone, of all happiness i would be bereft
without you around, i would live on in fear
you bring a certain feeling that dwells inside
that scares me and overjoys me all in one
you bring to me smiles that i can not hide
and it's scary how close to you i have gone
but i'm never too afraid to show my love
or let you know that you are everything
you have been placed way up above
and far beyond anything else this life can bring
