The Servant and the Princess

I live a life of simplicity,
While you bask in your life of luxury
You are the daughter of a very strict king
Your father feels animosity towards people like me,
So how could we be?
You tell me you’ll find a way,
So I trust in your sincerity
Just to see me you will talk to your father with duplicity
And when you’re with me I feel serenity…
When days go by without you I feel weary
Your presence makes me feel so lively
But the feeling of getting caught is so scary,
If I were to ever lose you my soul would die,
The feelings of joy and happiness would hide,
I would literally drown in the tears I cry,
The voice in my head would say it’s going to be ok…
But I know it lies,
So you see I can’t live without you,
I know you love me and I love you to,
I know one day we’ll be together living longevity pleasantly,
Just me and you…
Together forever
