The Perfect Love

I look inside your eyes and inside I melt
My fingers flow down the softest skin I’ve ever felt
It seems my love for you has no limit
Give me a bottomless pit, and with my love I’ll fill it
And yet I’ll still have so much love
I’ll stack it to the stars and far above
We belong together you and I
Now, forever, until we die
You are without a doubt so perfect for me
When I’m with you there’s no place I’d rather be
And it’s not just because you’re fun, smart and beautiful to the core
It’s because you’re all that and so much more
The only thing that matters is you
Never before have I felt a love so true
I wish I could express how much you mean to me
But things like that just don’t come easily
Yet with this poem I hope you’ll understand
That it’s in your hands my heart has decided to land
But even though you have my heart, I do not feel an empty space
Instead I am full of happiness every time I see your face

Why do I love you so much?
That I’ll never know

But one things for sure
I’ll never let you go…
