The Fair
The fair was over
I just strolled back home
With food on one hand
And on the other the phone
Walking down the avenue
Just like a rolling stone
The stars are winking me
But I am still alone
I just remembered when
We had a little chat
I was a bit nervous
And you knew that
Now I'm lying here
I don't know what to do
I just can't sleep
Because I'm thinking of you
Is this a summer passion
Or am I messed up?
Will you open the door
Or will you shut?
My friends saw you
And they started to shout
Is that the girl you like,
Why don't you make out?
It was really fun
If you weren't in my place
They ruined everything
But the smile on your face
How does this story ends
Well I just don't know
Because love can die
But it can also grow
