same old day
Early in the morning, dark and drizzly
She awakes and rushes for the day so busy
Into the shower, opens her eyes
Greets the morning with a soft gently sigh
Getting ready, makeup her face
Walking around in a mental daze
Waits for the time to say hello
When he answers her face glows
Cherry lips curl as a smile awakens
Contour of her face begins to shapen
Eyes dance as a sparkle exerts from within
Her day starts when she thinks of him
Get in the car, fight the cold
Drive to the school, getting so old
Pulls in and sees his car
Gets inside, kiss, we’ve come so far
Same old day, as any before
But being with him makes her heart soar
Kisses steal her breath in the chill of the air
Whispers of love fly away, nothing compares
Her day is made when there lips touch
Hugs and kisses, I love you so much
She goes on to face the day
Sharing love as the dread of days slip away
