Reality in A Rose
Fear unfolds,
-freezes-
the futures on hold,
and I'm scared to be pricked
by the thorns I have grown.
Where the rosebuds end,
and my stale stem begins
that's where I'm told
I have grown to look older.
And now that I'm here
somebodies Valentines day
will be made,
just by holding me...
made great
just by holding me.
I am your rain-fall kiss,
the time he touched you like this,
the cookies she baked you,
his & her wedded bliss.
It's insane just by smelling me, the things I can sell you.
My rose, it compels you.
Won't you hear what I tell you?
Take a second in this silence to feel whats true,
beyond my petals, feel my spine!
There's dark side too.
You must hold both sides to feel so whole,
This is a warning!
Take dark with light
and the warm with the cold,
talk things out, work things out, and your love will be gold.
Go boldly where no Romeo has ever dared to go.
