Not Forsaken Time
I find myself here again,
Here in the same place,
Thinking of what I said to you,
Was it the right thing at all?
Always contemplating in my mind,
Piecing apart our conversation,
And wondering if the words came out right.
Wishing I could go back,
And change my words around,
Maybe they made you mad,
Or even a bit sad.
Can you feel my eyes?
The weight of my glare,
Constantly debating,
On how to make you see.
If only I could be who I am,
Would that be enough?
Should I ever know?
Maybe if I can feel your touch.
One thing is certain,
My time will not be forsaken,
I know we shall embrace,
Together will make us one.
