No Regrets
I was never suppose to fall in love
I was never suppose to cross that line
Duty before family
That was the rule they made
I had lost my family; my friends after them
I promised to protect them, then its my regret.
Now I’m bound to duty to this land;
Closing off my heart.
I kill thousands by my hands; emotions completely void.
Comrades die around me, but this is war.
You saw me in a different light.
You never saw me as a killer, only a lover.
You broke through my icy heart;
Flooding warmth through my body.
I was never supposed to fall in love; but that is what I did
Now that your laying in my arms, I have crossed that line
I have no regrets
