No Matter...

Some people write about love
All their lives, day and night
Yet when you finally experience it
You realize it's not always right

You could write about it everyday
But when you're in love, you're speechless
You can never find the right words to say
Your mind is such a mess!

You try to put your feelings on paper
Yet your mind becomes empty
Suddenly. it's not you and I anymore
Now it's together, now it's a "we"

You get butterflies in your stomach
You feel all hazy inside
They're your everything
The two of you, nothing can divide

So no matter
How many times they say goodbye
What they really want
Is for you to fight, to at least try.
