My Best Friend
MY MOTHER, MY BEST FRIEND
You've shown me unconditional love from the time I was so small,
Mismatched outfits, crazy hair..you let me do it all.
I've always been perfect to you just by being me,
You never tried to mold me into who you thought I should be.
You offer guidence and gentle words through my rough times,
Yet you've gave discipline and structure to keep my ass in line.
You're someone I can depend on through heart ache, pain and strife,
While others have and will forsake me, you'll remain the constant in my life.
I know no matter how many obstacles life may throw my way you'd be there til the end,
So not only do I call you MOTHER I call you my BEST FRIEND.
