Mommy

I'm a mother now
Don't know what to do
never changed a diper before
never held one them too
never knew much about love
never knew much about caring for another

But I'm a mother now

I get up late at night
I hold them while they cry
I feed and Chang them all day long

they smell of baby lotion
They smell of baby food
they smell of the earth and new moon

I'm a mother now and it's scaring the hell out of me
I'm only 17
I'm a Junior in school
I'm just a lonely teen

My life use to be all about me
My life use to be a way to get out of the pain

But all that had changed
because I'm a mother now

little do my babies know
I cry late at night
I beg god for the answer to make this all right
i beg my mother to help me and hold my hand

little do my girls know
I am turned away by my friend
I am kicked out by my family
God has for skein me asked me to figure it out on my own

I love my girls more then i can take
I love my girls with all my heart
they are my world and my life
because i am their mom

and i will never leave their side

yea greta poem. you do sound like a great mother even if you might not know what to do. you give them love something a lot of mothers don't give their kids. as far as i'm concerned you're one of the great mothers out there.
