Incredible Lady

I try to fool myself,
I say it can’t be right,
Can this happen?
Is it within my sight?

Unbelievably sweet,
So modest so true,
Understanding she is,
And beautiful through and through.

Who will be the chosen one?
Chosen to say I do,
Could it have been me?
Could we have been one instead of two?

Maybe I missed my chance,
Was it in another life?
I would have loved her day and night,
I’m sure she would have been my wife.

Who shall ever win her heart,
Would find that treasure indeed,
That so incredible lady,
Is all one should ever need.
