I can't imagine life without you
nor would I wish it so.
For you brighten each dark day of mine
Like sunlight off the snow
your smile brings warmth into my cheeks
your hands warm up my sides
you hug me tight, and warm me up
with all of you you can
my hands are cold—my cheeks are frozen
my throat burns when I breathe
this warmth I feel
This encompassing heat
is love between you and me
our love has power
it reaches out
and turns snow to pouring rain
I close my eyes
I fall asleep
I see you a golden angel
you fly us up to see the stars
and what a sight they are
I wake and we are back on Earth
as normal as could be
