golden ring
I found your ring,
the other day,
the one you said,
in time i could have,
we went out for the night,
with a bunch of friends,
to much was consumed,
with not enough said,
i found your ring,
and slowly i bled.
I tryed it on my fingers,
one at a time,
its slighty to large for each,
so now sits apon the chain,
with a heart i recived from you.
On my index finger,
i wear the ring,
you once gave to me,
when we where just friends,
but now my love has grown for you,
and you have grown on me,
i'll see you tomorrow,
and i will return the ring,
but for now your ring,
the ring of gold,
sits apon my heart,
hanging on the chain,
as i fall apart.
I know i can't have you,
but i want you oh so much,
so here i hand you back,
the golden ring,
and i give you my heart,
because i'm still in love.
