Forgotten Love

I look at you
and i see
just how much i really want you
next to me but...
your too blind
to realize your always...
on my mind


if you open your eyes you will find me
and i could make you see
that we are meant to be
but you don't notice me
like i am hiding
in the shadows
and you don't know
how it makes me feel


when you show...
my love is no big deal
i cry myself to sleep at night
wondering why its wrong
when it should be right
i wake up still thinking
what it would be like


if it was you and me
i was about to give up
and loose faith
when suddenly...
you asked me on a date


but i realized this was not
the correct fate
then i said something
i had to state
i used to love you
but i have come out of the shadows
and into the light
now you are in the shadows
and will stay there
for many days...
and nights
