Darkest Nights

These thoughts of you will get me through the darkest nights
Even with you not here’ I will get through it without lights
The only reason why is because you are always in my heart
Just to keep me moving like you were from the very start

Except that you were always there for me at the beginning
I love you’ but I don’t understand why I should be forgiving
When you were the one left me feeling like I was dead and torn
You are expecting me to apologize when I‘m the one who’s scorn

And even though I make it through’ it does not mean that I want to
I have to’ and I am not sure if we are still going out or if we are through
All that I know is i would do anything at all if i could be your man
& I promise to make you the happiest women in the world if i can

I can not stand this anymore’ I can not stand this being so alone
I just can not stand going through every single night feeling prone
It hurts way too much to go through every single one of these nights
Eating’ sleeping’ or even living and feeling like your gaining frights

All I want is to be there to make sure that you are safe & you’re warm
A place where nobody can bother you’ to have privacy nobody swarm
Because I do and I have always known that as long as I am always there
You would be really very happy because I know being alone is not fair
