To Become A Man
Speak the truth
and men will hear
Respect only follows
a heart sincere
All who know you
will gladly follow
If in gloom
and self pity
you never wallow
Stand erect,
sure and strong
Admit your failings,
when you are wrong
Never boast about yourself
nor matters of love
or your wealth
Place yourself
above no others
But consider all
to be your brothers
Through your life,
in confidence go
Then your strength
shall surely show
And if from troubles
you never ran
Then, all shall say
You've become a man
