The Prairie Land Sea
There once was a girl, by the sea did she live. And she loved and she laughed till her heart she did give. She gave away her young soul to a place far away, oh how she would give to just spend one day. There were mountains and prairies and hot summer nights, filled with wonderful stars that gave off beautiful lights. The young mistress would dream of this red prairie's wonders, she would marvle and awe at each bolting lightning and thunder. How sad the girl was to live by the sea, the only thought to cross her mind was how good life could be. As she stared at the water and dreamed of the West, she could only imagine how leaving would be for the best.
A quiet young girl of the very same age, stared out at her grass filled prairie land cage. How she dreamed of a place with water and fish, to leave her hot home was her heart's greatest wish. All the stories she'd heard of great giant whales, being caught by fierce fishermen, oh all the tales! How she would love to live by that great salty sea, with ships and dolphins, what better could it be? And as she stared at her prairie she couldn't have guessed, that someone else far away thought living here was the best.
If only the girls had looked a bit harder, that life is to precious and fragile to barter. The girl by the sea fell in and drowned, to this day her body is nowhere to be found. The girl on the prairie fell of her horse, her poor little frame was crushed by the force. The tale remains told that at rest they will be, forever dancing on the prairie land sea.
