The end is coming near my friends, but are we all prepared?
Or do we tremble with great fear because we are all scared?
It threatens with its ticking hand, as time we know passes so quickly,
And can we do what we know is right, we need to act so swiftly.
For time is racing, speeding ahead,
And at the end we all will dread,
When we feel we have not lived to our greatest extent,
And how we wished and dreamed we would and how we always meant.
The end is coming near my friends so are we all ok?
For you’ll never know if today will be your last day.
And when will you have your last breathe do you know?
Of course not, but don’t you wish?
That your last breath could be, dear I love you so,
Now I could make a list,
Of the people I’d wish to tell goodbye,
With that last breath I may take,
But all in all I’d say I love you,
To my loving lover I shall make,
A promise that if I had to choose,
Between breathing and loving you,
I’d use my last breath to say I love you.
The end is coming near my friends, but will we ever really go?
Or will we linger round and round,
Here lost within our souls?
Entrapped in a world we once had lived,
What could be a worse fate?
For you could be in heaven with your love, even if you had not met yet,
But will you be accepted at that gate?
To make it into this special place where magic beyond your knowledge is stored,
And ever since I was little have I really adored.
The end is coming near my friends, so are we all prepared?
Think about what you want, who you want,
And who you love and for whom you cared.
Next time you pass a lonely face, with desperation across their soul,
Smile a little or wave, make sure you know they know,
That they are loved as much as you,
No matter by what or who,
Love is love and hate is waste,
And remember, I love you.
The end is coming near my friends, now go prepare your little hearts.
