Starlight

There is a wondrous cleansing light,
That shines so hard,
That shines so bright,
It shines on me with all it’s might,
I think it is my star tonight.

I think tonight it is my star,
That will shine upon my deepest heart,
I say this with confidence so true,
Because I see it shine in you.

Keep your secrets in my heart,
If I’m near or if I’m far,
Never forgetting who you are,
You shine so bright, you shine so hard.

If the night is as black as coal,
And the coal on the fire is getting old,
It still shines on, it still shines bold,
It shines in the arms that happiness holds.

There is a wondrous cleansing light,
That shines so hard,
That shines so bright,
It shines on me with all it’s might,
I think it is my star tonight.

I think it is a wandering star,
That shines so near and shines so far,
And with every breath the light gets brighter,
And I open my arms as it takes me higher.

Aye, some things can only survive in the starlight. For the day burns them away.

(And you're a kinder person than me...well, your chap is anyway!)

I love stargazing. Where we live, the nights are very dark and I can see more stars than ever before.
With only binoculars you can see the nebula in Orion's belt.

And like I said before, some people are beautiful disasters and some are horrible disasters.

Great poem.

This needs music - clearly a song - some minor chords in there somewhere too.
