Sometimes in life
Things happen without a why
Some might be bad, some might be good
It’s just part of life

When bad things happen
And people you love, make you cry
Don’t take it to hard or even wonder why
Because these things happen sometimes in life

If your family treats you bad
Or just don’t give a damn
It might suck but it happens to everyone,
Sometimes in life

Sometimes in life
We fall in love with “the one”
And even though they might play us or break our hearts
Stay calm and just remember it happens to us all

The whole world might bail on you
And you might feel all alone
But there’s be one person left, a friend that’s true
I know this because this happens sometimes in life

So on the day all goes wrong
And that horrid day seems everlasting long
You can scream and shout and never know why
Because these things just happen sometimes in life
