Singing my Own Song

Splendrous melodies dance through my lips
As I step through the sunshiny spring,
I laugh in the warmth, and I shake off the doubt
as I throw back my head and I sing,

I sing of the lightness, the sun and it's brightness,
The echoing songs of the birds in the breeze,
I sing of the roses, sweet red it composes,
I sing of the colors the sky paints for me,

This beautiful world is alive all around us,
The forests and oceans, the land and the seas,
Magnificant life is awake, it surrounds us,
When only you open your eyes, you will see.
