Reborn

As I stare at the sky
I feel a wave of warmth come over me
I haven't felt this way in a long long time
Every day has been filled with something to bring me down
some crap I dont need in my life

But As I stare at this sky I feel cleansed
like a newborn child
and I know that someone is watching over me

you must be
Because without you
I would be stuck in these days
the dark
dreary days
where nothing seemed to be going my way

And as I stare at the sky
I feel your love
Tangible
I can almost taste it
and all i want to do
is sing
and dance
because today is a new day
to begin
at a new beginning
and start life
over again.

I feel alive
Yes I'm alive.
alive enough to love
and to do everything
I wasn't able to do
without your guidance
and without your care
I feel alive
