Liquid Sunshine

I hear a rumble,
feel a shake.
My heart speeds up,
I smile.

To my feet I stumble,
out the door quick.
I throw my hands up,
My mind wanders for a while.

Liquid sunshine consumes me,
It drips down my clothes and hair.
I am addicted you see,
and i'll let you know that without a care.

From morning untill night,
You can find me their.
Some people say it is not right,
others point and stare.

The light flashing past me,
reminds me i'm alive.
It takes me back to the age of three,
into the puddles i want to dive.

Liquid sunshine all around,
catch it before it soaks into the ground.
Liquid sunshine my excape,
This is a feeling you cannot fake.
