Hand In Hand

I felt the fuel and touched the fire
And quenched the thirst of my heart’s desire
To cast the spell of peace and love
Beneath the stars in the heavens above

May conflict cease and goodwill return
Beside the flame of the candle that burns

Beneath the light of this heavenly sight
May hardship fade into night

Speckled stars glisten like long lost souls
Hidden away in the valley of dolls
May hope spring forth from hidden world

For the past foretold of a wonders sight
Where we would walk, hand in hand into the light
