Epiphany

Where are we now?
Entering a forbidden realm;
forsaken from the world
bloodied hopes upon us
We delve deeper
into the lies
they've sold us all lies
what's the use of it all?
Darkness rising into our souls
eating us all alive
not knowing what to do
too young here
in this black abyss
no reason for a place like this
dreams of joy, hopeful tears I cry
Even if we all embrace
does Peace have a certain taste?
Feelings gone
hopeful feelings die
the eyes of the sun
you'll see...
the beauty of earth
you'll see...
the music of rain
you'll see...
they're coming you'll see
Hopeless are we all?
Wait for it, wait for it all to come
rebelling against ourselves
killing ourselves
deadly sins
ways to win
Don't we all want to win?
The paths of Heaven
of Hell
or Purgatory...
Leading us all on
into what?
The sea waters rise above us
a sea of madness
we cry
we cry out to our God
What do we do?
Help us! Help us!
Do we get the help?
More storms rising
The evil keeps on coming...
and now we try to delve deeper?
Trying to bring peace
Peace sells, it does
but who's really, honestly buying?
Evil!
It's coming for us,
Hope cries out
jealousy fails
evil takes over
what are we now?
Slaves to the power of death?
Why did it have to be this way?
How are we gonna get out of here?
The walls around us
closing in
do you know what to do?
Break the chains!
We're not meant for this,
no, not at all!
Slaves to the power of death...
we're all children of the damned,
in this unworthy evil-ridden land!
They will bring peace to the land
Nothing shall terrify us
Evil shall die
Peace is ressurected
Rid the land of vicious beasts
and we will not again know war
Storms clearing,
jealousy
evil
Relinquish!
Gone...
Is it gone?
Are we all gone?
Where is everything now?
