Canvas

Canvas of white, illuminating bright.
Ready to be filled with anything you like.
Imagine it was your mind, blank and free.
Recreate, how you'd have it be.
Paint it with anything, anything you like.
As long as for you, its what is right.
Remember not everyone will appreciate your art.
There is the element of competition for a start.
Then there are others, you want to paint for.
If they've no interest in your art, it becomes a chore.
Trying to impress the unimpressive.
Begins to get a bit depressive.
Fill it with colour wonderful and bright.
Or maybe you prefer to enjoy the white.
To sit for a while, Decide whats right.
Maybe you could paint it dark like the night.
When you get bored, change it back to white.
Its your canvas, paint anything you like.
