A Monster in my Grandmothers Closet
As when i rest my head on the pillow for tonight
I ask my mother to leave on the outside hall light
To leave the bedroom door open just a tad
If they hear anything i just scream out for mom and dad
So the time did pass as it's quarter to four
I open my eyes as i hear a creek from the closet door
As i pulled the covers over my head i thought not tonight
So i sprang from my bed and turned on the light
I walked close to the closet door with fear in every step
With no sound through the house as everyone slept
The beating of my heart got more louder as i walked to the door
Just my little bare feet as i shuffled on the floor
I reached for the handle with a gasp in my breath
Scared that i would come face to face with Mr. Death
So i opened the door at first it was dark to see
Then i could see the image of two legs before me
All of a sudden standing on the carpet with my bare toes
I looked closer and noticed it was my grandmothers pantyhose
