a decade we've been
together
through all good times and bad
journeying along
the beginning of our life

when we were kings of the hills
or played tag?
girls verses boys?
pulling pranks on each other
driving our teachers crazy

we were
together, inseparable

now,
less than four months away
off we go
into our own different paths
never looking back
but i'll never forget
