The Way The Wind Blows
Life is cause and effect
The winds cause the trees to sway
The sun causes the snow to shine
And your presence causes me to smile
Every action had a consequence
Who says that it’s not good?
When it rains the consequence is my wet clothing
When you laugh the consequence is my heart heeling
Friends make the world go round
So true, so not a myth
You make my world spin
Every time that we spin round
Laughter like bells
Tears like acid
Stomachs constricted in an attempt not to pee ourselves
Mouths aching from constant smiles
The sun is setting
But it will rise
Each day we’re together
My life gets better
