Thank You, My Friend

Thank you for being there for me.
Thank you for taking the time to be my friend.
In the time that I have known you, you have been a blessing in my life.
Even without realizing it, you have saved me.
And now, a new year is beginning for you.
Seasons are changing.
Times are changing.
So much has changed in our lives.
We get older.
We move.
We grow apart from each other.
But I will always remember this year, and what it meant to me.
When we go off to college and no longer see each other, cherish this moment.
You have inspired me in so many ways that you can't imagine.
You will always hold a place in my heart, and I will never forget you, my friend.
You came into my life and left footprints on my soul that will never fade away, no matter where we go in this life.
