i have a best friend but he is male
he is my ex's mate but our frienship hasn't failed
but then he said he loved me since year seven
but my heart missed a beat and fell straight from heaven
see he asks me out everyday
and got me a necklace for my birthday
he's at my house most of the time
he's says he loves me an its not a crime
he has a point that is true
but i want to be friends as i don't love you
i am there when you need me as a friend
if i move away letters i shall send
i am your buddy or your mate
but you can't hold on it is not our fate
i love you in a frienship way
but that is how it will stay
i don't want this to hurt you
