your candle has burnt out

lies bright and epic
unforgettable- but so many regrets
hand in hand- we stumbled towards sunset-
knowing the consenquences
we were swept along the tide
no time for complains now
shattered hopes and dreams-
alone, dying in the shadows
a void; no one cares to save you
losing a little more each day
trying to bend the unbendable
fix the broken things
all i have is insane
the sun blinds and the moon finds
each crack in crystal skin
each burn in porcelien lives
each lie in their eyes
"Something changed that day"
so many regrets-
stumbling foward- desperate to fall,
to let the fire consume
but the night sticks to me in a way i cant wash off.
your lies, bright and epic,
your candle has burnt out-
leave the wax to fill the silence-

This is a wonderful poem. You have got quite a few good lines in this....

your lies, bright and epic,
your candle has burnt out-
leave the wax to fill the silence-

...but I like the last lines the best.
