You lie

No no,
how could you leave me?
I didn’t know how much you
needed me, I tried to be
there but it was to hard
you never even notice

You yelled that I was never there
but you never saw me, so I stopped,
you had other friends but I guess
they were fake, you should
have told me it was all a lie,
so I would not have said good bye

Now your letter I sit and read
tears running down my face,
that stupid boy you fought
for tore your heart to shreds,
and I couldn't fix it cuz
mine was already in pieces

You were unsuccessful for that I am
glad, but you hurt everyone with
your attempt and took me down too,
now in the bed beside you my eyes
have run dry, your last words ringing in
my head taking all that was left of me

You left me dead, broken, nothing left
you last words ringing in my head,
it was not my fault, I tried! it was
you who lied, you lied, you lie
I didn’t make you want to die
it was that stupid boy!
