What Happens When You Let Your Gaurd Down
The walls had been knocked down
After years of building them high.
Someone had finally found a way through,
And the river of tears had finally run dry.
Now I'm reminded of why I kept them,
Why I locked the world out.
The first person to breach my defenses,
And it's ended only in doubt.
What do I do now?
Do I build my walls again?
Do I try harder
To end where I began?
They're locked out now, and forever more.
I'm keeping my walls shut tight.
No one's getting through again,
I'll be sheltered day and night.
