Three Simple Words

I watch the world through different eyes
Corrupt and evil hands lay before me
One tear slips through this demise
One tear screaming that you'll see
Something other than pretty pictures and a force-fed smile disguise

Looking in the mirror not seeing a girl
The one thing I run from, a sacrifice
Watching as the blood drips an anger red swirl
Memories escaping from hiding
My lunch is slice and dice

Shut down, push everyone out
The calm before the storm
But harsh words hurriedly escape my mouth
Black painted anger you easily doubt
The truth may set me free
But the pain won't allow me to go that route

Words stuck in my throat
Screaming to be unchained
Three simple words
but too many emotions with that obtained

You watch as I break again
Drowning in familiar low
Im waiting for more strings
Hit me with that final blow
Promises only broken it brings
Three simple words
Flowing through my head like night
Waiting for the stars of hope
But in me no longer raging fight
So ending this with a silent rope
Never sounded better
But three simple words
They never sound... right...
