Think for a Moment

she bit her nails
Until they bled
staining her floor
next to her bed
that little piece of glass
tempts that monster
yet it still scares it to death

crying doesnt help
the pain is so much deeper then that
its crawled underneath her skin
making a nest

that vampire follows her in the night
smelling her blood drain from
that one spot where he did smite
with that so very sharp knife
that hole will never heal
so dont try and bandage it up
the flowing crimson
will surely break its seal
As you try and fix it in one shot

glass slides up and down
and across her leg
dragging it slowly
on her clothes she doesn't want it to snag
the pretty red glistens down the side
staining her shorts
making it very hard to hide
she refuses to where a mask
because deep down she wants to face
what demons smack her in haste
she steps onto the street
sweat staining her clothes
knowing the end is drawing close
she brings her ipod out jamming out to some favorite tunes
and right as "Ghost of You" turns on
the semi slams into her
splitting her missing soul into, two.
