Suffocating on Air

The intoxication of life
can often cloud our minds
blind us to our faults
and lead to our own undoing

Everyone is choking on air
because it is too clean
and the human mind
is very, very dirty

Suffocating on air
Breathing in water
drowning in thoughts
consuming Ideas

Don't choke baby
breath in the smoke
remember it babe
It's your only hope

Die deaths that aren't our own
Sit here and write this poem
Greed is mans worst enemy
yet his most dependable trait
