Solitary Confinement

I crack a quick smile
And lean on my cage
In this solitary confinement
I will slowly age

‘Cause no one is here
Only me and myself
To hell with the others
I’ll give myself help

Sitting in a corner
Flush against the bars
I claw at my arms
And look to the stars

One hearty laugh
With my tears still flowing
My blood slowly drips
My smile stays glowing

‘Cause no one is here
Only me and myself
To hell with the others
I’ll give myself help
