So Long so... (Revised)

Sinking deeper into myself
wishing i were somewhere else
the things i want are dangled before me
unbridled love just will never be
every breathe i take is for you
undying loyalty i guess will never do
you see beauty in everything around
but your love for me can never be found
only wanting to be free of this pain
blood pouring down like evening rain
each cut tearing me apart like yours words
most people would think this absurd
why must i constantly be thrown away
anything good for me will never stay
shutting down from all the rejection
left to find myself alone but with one objection
if time after time i get pushed down
why on earth would i want to be around
my life has been nothing but heartbreak
truly this pattern is no mistake
so i cut once more becoming lost in time
daring for the courage to make eternity mine
if your saddened by my words now you'll know
how i've felt so long so....
