Rocking Chair
Step outside
Feel the breeze against your skin
The pressure of the wind
Let it devour you
Pushing you under
Crushing to a powder
Insecurities surrounding
Your not close
And my vision is clouding
Freezing my eyelashes closed
Cracking my lips
Into a bloody smile
For you to watch
Forming the one word
You can't miss
Slap that mess
Upside the head
Ruin its thinking
Until its dead
End the life
Of the young one
She's barely breathing
In this silence
Through all the screaming
And all the fights
The tears that fall
Are out of sight
Crawl along the floor
Huddle in the corner
Hold onto your knees and rock
Back and forth
Back
and
Forth.
